This venue was born thanks to us. We discovered this hidden gem while driving from Amalfi, stopped the car, and went to speak with the mayor to encourage the local authorities to turn this small square—framed by two Baroque churches and overlooking a breathtaking coastline and the endless sea—into an official wedding ceremony location. A year later, the mayor of the town called us to say that our wish had been fulfilled.
Atrani is a small seaside borgo, and the smallest municipality in all of Italy. Nestled between cliffs and the sea, Atrani offers visitors a truly unique sight. This borgo feels like a romantic grotto, enclosed between steep rocky shores, facing the open sea.
Its narrow streets, arches, courtyards, small squares, countless stairways, and houses stacked one above another create a special atmosphere and cinematic charm.
From the terrace of the church, where the ceremony will take place, there is a view over the Gulf of Salerno. This breathtaking seaside backdrop, combined with the intimate frame of the small yet highly romantic square, the tufa bell tower, the Art Deco-style church, and the white double-flight staircase where the bride will make her grand entrance, will become the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony.
