Official wedding on Lake Trasimeno

Lake Trasimeno is the fourth largest lake in Italy in terms of shoreline length. On its shores you will find incredibly beautiful villages.

The lake is home to three islands, one of which is inhabited: Isola Polvese, Isola Maggiore, and Isola Minore.

The largest island is Isola Polvese. It can be freely visited even though, since 1995, it has belonged to the Trasimeno Regional Park. In addition to its beautiful landscapes, the island features a fortress, the ruins of the Church of San Secondo, and the Church of San Giuliano.

The second island is Isola Maggiore. In 1211, Saint Francis of Assisi came here for a period of fasting. The island is inhabited: you immediately arrive in a small fishing village that has remained almost unchanged for centuries, with many houses dating back to the 14th–15th centuries.

The third island, Isola Minore, also called the “Little Island,” is private and uninhabited. It was inhabited until the 15th century.

The ceremony itself will take place on the panoramic terrace of a medieval fortress built in the 5th–6th centuries by the Lombards, offering a spectacular view over the lake and its islands. From the upper terrace of the watchtower, a 360-degree view opens over the lake and the green hills.

After the ceremony, we can depart by boat with champagne to visit the islands.
